Description
This is an online e-learning course explaining what climate change is and why it matters. The target audience is small UK businesses and staff who are interested in developing their response to the growing challenge of climate change.
There are no pre-requisites and no prior knowledge of climate change is required. The course typically takes around 5 hours to complete.

- What climate change is and why it is happening
- The main effects of climate change
- Some of the tools available to fight climate change
- The history of climate change action/inaction
- The complex political challenges governments face in fighting climate change.
Every student who completes the course will be awarded a personalised completion certificate with a unique code which can be verified online at the Intsilo Learning Portal. The certificate can be saved, downloaded and also added to your LinkedIn profile.
How it works
As soon as you place your order, we will set up a learning account for you at the Intsilo Learning Portal and send you an email with details of how to log in. We’ll also send you an enrolment key and instructions of how to share this key with other staff or colleagues to allow them to also enrol in the course.
Everyone who uses your enrolment key will be part of the same group of learners (‘cohort’) and you will be able to oversee their progress on the course. As owner of the enrolment key you will be able to:
- view who has enroled using your enrolment key and their overall progress on the associated courses
- remove students from your cohort
- assign the management function to another student in your cohort.
